Insta-Ready Hair Styles

Instagram, SnapChat and Pinterest are incredible sources for beauty inspiration. Chances are you can’t login to any of those accounts without scrolling past some major hair style looks. Social media has been a great resource for those that aren’t as naturally hair oriented to gain some insight to create hair styles that are inspired by the beauty bloggers of the world that share their tutorials. Of course, some of the hair styles that are created on social media sites are still quite elaborate which is why we wanted to share some of our favorite insta-ready hair styles that are achievable for ANYONE.

Twisted Crown
What’s NOT insta-ready about a crown? We can’t think of much! Although you may not want to walk around with an actual crown on your head anymore (unless it’s your birthday, of course) there is a fun and simple way to create a hair crown in your hair that’s stylish and will leave you snapping pictures to post on your own social accounts. To create the hair style start by styling your hair in a middle part and separate the two sections of hair so they’re clearly defined. Beginning with one side, begin to twist the hair starting from the nape of the neck to the end of the hair. Once the twist is created bring the twisted section of hair over the top of your head and secure to the other side of your head. Repeat the process with the other side. You’ll be left with a twisted crown-esque type of hair style! It doesn’t get much easier, does it?

French Braids Into a Bun
Braids are always floating across social media outlets because they’re so incredibly versatile and effortlessly stylish. Many of us have seen the classic pigtail French braids that have been popular in the past year, but lately it’s taking a bit of a shift and we’re all about it. Creating the traditional pigtail French braids is where you start with this hair style but instead of bringing the braids to the ends of your hair, stop around where you would style a bun (this can be a low bun or high bun-it’s up to you!). Secure the braids in place and with the rest of the hair style a messy bun. It’s a different take on two classic hair styles combined. You can have a lot of fun with the placement of the bun and the braiding technique to change the style up a bit, too.

Pigtail Buns
You’ve probably noticed there’s a lot of style and beauty inspiration being pulled from the 90’s and that’s definitely maintaining its popularity right now on Instagram. Another one of our favorite insta-ready hair styles right now has to be pigtail buns. Messy buns are always an easy look to create, and they’re loaded with effortless style but changing it up to create pigtail buns has a totally different feel to the hair style. If you have highlights and different colors mixed into your hair this is a great way to intertwine those colors and show them off, too!
