Using Jewelry To Up Your Hair Game

Do you feel like you need to up your hair game?  It’s so easy to get stuck in a rut, especially with our hair.  If we’re all really honest, we tend to stick with our same tried and tested hair styles that we know and love.  But, while those hair styles are great and we know we can count on them – sometimes it’s nice to switch things up again to give yourself a little something extra to the mix.  Using jewelry to up your hair game, is one way to switch up your hair styles in a way that you probably haven’t thought of before.  But, you’re in luck because we’re going to give you a few ideas right…NOW!

Use Necklaces For Headbands
Head bands are always great hair accessories to mix things up a bit, but you may not own a head band or you may be kind of tired of going to your same head band every time you want that look.  Well, how about using a chain type of necklace in your hair as a head band?  There are so many different necklace types you can wear to achieve this type of look, it’s really up to you and your imagination.  Using a necklace as a head band is a great way to really switch things up for your hair – people will be asking where you got your head band ALL day.

Use Bracelets For a Bun
Do you love wearing your hair in buns?  They’re such a great, chic, easy style to achieve with your hair.  But even though they’re a great classic hair style, sometimes you want to switch things up a bit.  Well, now you can!  Try using your favorite bracelets to add a twist to your bun hair style.  You can use a cuff bracelet and secure it at the base of your bun for one look.  But if you want something different, you can even use wrap bracelets around the base of the bun OR over the top of the bun.  The options are pretty limitless here – it’s all a matter of securing the bracelets with bobby pins to the bun to create a unique look.  We’re going to go ahead and guess that if you try this out, your friends and family won’t think that they’re your favorite bracelets in your hair.

Use Rings In Braids
Braids have definitely been having a moment, ok maybe longer than a moment.  We all love braids, but even they could use a little game changing element every once in a while.  And now you can switch up your braid look – by using rings!  Yep, just slide a ring onto the pieces of hair as you begin to braid and the rings will be held by your hair as you continue braiding.  It’s a super easy process to do, but you’ll be left with a braided hair style that looks pretty complicated – and like you’ve TOTALLY stepped up your hair game.
